School Placement

FRANKENBERGER ASSOCIATES SCHOOL PLACEMENT SERVICE IS DESIGNED TO ASSIST FAMILIES THROUGH EVERY STAGE OF THE PLACEMENT PROCESS.

Our comprehensive, on-site visits/research of independent schools, our close working relationships with Headmasters, Admissions Directors and, often, faculty, and our in-depth understanding of a student’s cognitive, academic, executive and social emotional profiles, enables us to skillfully guide families through the placement process. We share your goal of identifying a school that will provide the educational, extracurricular and social programming to best meet the needs of your child so that he/she can have the transformative experience that independent schools provide.

Frankenberger Associates specializes in working with students who have diverse learning styles and we carefully investigate how schools support learning differences.

A growing number of schools have established learning centers where students can receive individualized and small group support. There are also schools that dedicate themselves exclusively to remediating students who have specific learning disabilities. We have extensive knowledge about and insight into the complex learner and we have been asked to share our knowledge at dozens of schools through presentations to their faculties.

Choosing an independent school is a process, and we guide you each step of the way. It does not end with an acceptance and a placement decision.

We continue to monitor student’s progress insuring that they are able to take full advantage of everything that is offered. We are frequently in touch with Headmasters, admissions directors, and sometimes even student’s advisors and/or teachers. In many cases families request that grades and progress reports be sent to us at Frankenberger Associates for our review and input. Follow up conversations with the family are an important part of the process. We have been invited to attend many graduations to congratulate and celebrate successful journeys.
